At VIOC, the Assistant Service Center Manager's role is to assist the Service Center Manager in achieving the service center's goals and objectives. The Assistant Manager will assist in and manage the day-to-day service center operations and will be totally customer service focused to ensure that all customers are highly satisfied with their visit. Responsibilties include: scheduling and staffing, hiring, training, development and certification of service center Technicians and Customer Service Representatives; conducting physical inventory at designated times; placing, receiving and booking orders; ensuring equipment and tools are fully operational; ensuring service center facilities are well kept, clean and safe with outstanding curb-appeal; enforcing company policies and procedures including employee safety, conduct and performance; monitoring and reviewing all service center operations and performance reports, taking appropriate actions to achieve established goals and objectives; executing service center opening and closing procedures with end-of-day financial reconciliation; and managing key suppliers, vendors and distributors.
