I've been a patron of the Groton Valvoline for 20+ years. They've taken care of my parents and wife's cars. I've had oil changes, air filters, serpentine belts, lights, AC flush and charge, fuel treatments, radiator flush, tire rotations and a battery replaced. The only service I found to be overpriced was the cabin air filter. The serpentine belt is a tremendous value. This location saved me once from a major blowout by alerting me to threadbare on the inner sidewall. They alerted to an AC pump issue based on a pressure check. They showed me how to fix a stuck hood release. I can't say enough good things about this location. My relationship with Valvoline started in Westerly in 1997 when I lived in Pawcatuck and Charlestown, then transferred to Groton in 2003 when i moved to Waterford. I'll continue to visit every 3,000 and I always recommend this location.

I went on April 16, 2024 around 6:40, and I wondered if I’d make it in time to get an oil change. The staff was Ruben, Chris, & Benjamin, and they immediately acknowledged me & guided me to drive the car forward. Ruben was the person who I communicated the most with, and he was super friendly, personable, charismatic, and helpful. There are two problems with the car, and he explained it in a way that’s easy to understand. I stated I only wanted an oil change, and he honored that, although I appreciate the information he provided about my car. This was an awesome first time at valvoline! Thank you so much to the staff.
