The staff was really kind and helpful. However, as a woman, I felt that I was treated differently than a man would be. The man that helped me opened my door and reached into my car to open the hood of the car instead of asking me to do it myself. He did the same thing for checking my lights. He also called me "dear" several times. While I do not think it was his intention, this interaction made me uncomfortable and I think it would be beneficial to do trainings on how to treat women in a way that does not feel demeaning. Otherwise, the service was great and I plan to return to a valvoline in the future.

I appreciate Valvoline, I have done business with them alot. When I got my printed receipt, I noticed that it said I had low oil and a major oil leak. I asked the guy about it. He said, yes you have a bad oil leak. I asked where it is coming from. He couldn't tell me. The reason I was upset is that I brought up the conversation when I was about to leave. He would have never told me that I had an oil leak even though they put it on the paper.

I have taken my cars to other Valvoline locations, BUT, will only take them to Valvoline in Guilford, CT. The staff is always extremely courteous & knowledgeable WITHOUT pressuring me to buy other services. They suggest, but do NOT pressure. I greatly appreciate that where as with other Valvoline locations, I felt pressured to make a purchase of another service. Conner knew what he was talking about and explained exactly what was going on with my car. VERY SATISFIED!!!
