Great experience, but a dropped oil cap, and the resulting search, caused me to be there for 1.5 hours. I appreciate the relentless pursuit to find the cap, and eventually finding it, but if I had 1.5 hours to spend on an oil change I would have gone to Volkswagen. Mistakes happen, totally understand, but it would have been nice to have had a discount applied for the 1.5 hour oil change.

The wait took over an hour and a half before my care even made it into the shop. The staff came out to do the initial check before in the building in the bright sun where the lady couldn’t even tell if the lights were on or off. Team member didn’t tell me the price of an item before asking if I wanted it and changing it.

it’s very expensive to change the oil in my car. $135. in general, i get it because it’s synthetic oil, but that’s a lot. the kid who helped me was nice but spoke in a kind of quiet mumble and i had to ask him to repeat what he said a few times.

Three of my tires had a PSI of 36 and one of my tires had a PSI of 26. Shortly after leaving, my low tire pressure light came on. I had to spend $2 to correct the tire pressure myself. For the price I paid at Valvoline, I shouldn’t have to double check after I leave. Also, when I was getting my oil changed. The woman working for Valvoline in the bay next to me picked up someone’s oil skid plate shield and said “uh oh”. They forgot to put it back on the car that was previously there and laughed about it. That’s someone’s property. They were nonchalant and laughed about it.
