The person that took my payment recommended I make a full synthetic oil change every 3000 miles. This shows he is not very informed. Tried to tell me that the oil filter still needs to be replaced every 3000 miles. I’ve worked in the auto industry for better part of 30 years and full synthetic does not break down so that it needs as frequent of replacement unless it gets dirty and you drive on dirt roads. Didn’t really want to argue with him. The OEM manufacturers recommend a longer duration between oil changes and higher mileage if you use full synthetic.
