Seriously the friendliest group of employees I’ve ever experienced (including Disneyland) I don’t know how you found that many hardworking, professional, polite, genuine, caring, upbeat, playful and competent individuals to work at one little place- but please help other companies learn how to hire and inspire like that!! Everyone was very friendly, the services were explained in detail but I was not/did not feel pressured once I said I only had enough for my oil change today. He even suggested looking on Groupon for additional savings for my fluid services that I need. The oil change was completed in about 15 minutes & I was able to make it home & still cook dinner for my family after working a double shift.

I’ve always gone to this Valvoline because they are kind, quick, and have recognized my military background with the military discount (after I present my valid military ID). This visit, when I asked if they still did the military discount since I’m a dependent of a veteran, I was told “You didn’t go through what your father did in the service, I understand you had hardships as a military kid, but I can’t give you the discount.” I feel that this statement was completely unnecessary and really hurtful. I never EXPECT to get a military discount, and have been denied plenty of times in a respectful way. After my mother called the manager, we discovered that this facility’s policy is only veterans and active duty for the military discount, which is completely fine and valid, I just wish it was better explained and that the policy was stated to me (especially because I have visited many times before and been given the military discount). Like I mentioned, the manager is aware and an investigation is taking place, I just hope that moving forward, employees can better explain policies to military personnel and families in a respectful way.

I paid for a full synthetic oil change and they did not drain the pan and then added more oil on top. They told me I was good to go and within 5 minutes white smoke started pluming out my exhaust. Turns out that my engine had way too much oil and it was burning with the gas. I had to take to back to everything redone again and the car still does not feel right. The staff working my car did not know what they were doing
