My wife brought her car in for an oil change, and everything was going fine until the cabin air filter was checked. It was clearly old and had leaves on it. She informed the staff that her husband would replace it at home, which I fully intended to do.
Instead of simply leaving the filter out or removing the debris, it was pushed back into place with the leaves still on it. This caused the debris to fall into the blower fan, and now the passenger-side defrost vent is clogged.
If the filter had been left out or cleaned off before reinstalling, this issue could have easily been avoided. Now I’m left having to take extra time to fix a problem that didn’t need to happen.
