They forgot to tighten my oil filter after getting an oil change. When I brought it back to them, they said it was leaking around the gasket. They added 3 quarts of oil and charged me $40. I took it to my mechanic the next day and he informed me that it was leaking around the oil filter which wasn’t even hand tightened. my mechanic recommended that I changed the oil. I took it back to Valvoline and told them what happened and asked to be refunded for my $40 the day before and for them to change the oil since it was their fault. Employees recognized me from the day before, but the store manager was very smug about and wouldn’t refund me. It said I had to go through a claim process and they would have to do an investigation.
