Staff that helped check me in and process payment kept me updated on process. there was an issue with the oil filter after the oil change and they had to redo the whole thing-The staff let me know what was going on and reassured me that they would redo it as quickly as possible and apologized for the delay. I see that this location changes crew members a lot and that prices have increased over just a few months. Even with the coupons provided I paid for a full synthetic oil change in the amount I paid just 2 months ago. I can tell the economy is getting hit hard and the prices are sky rocketing. Great experience today! Went in for an oil change, but also because the left side of my vehicle smelled gross. The mechanics identified I had a decayed mouse in my wheel area, back, passenger side!! They held their noses, did my oil change, asked me to drive out of the garage so they could remove the mouse for me without stinking up the shop. I think it was actually the manager -- slim guy, glasses, red hair -- who did it, but not certain if he was the manager. He was just very kind.I felt horrible and incredibly relieved at the same time. They all assured me that it wasn't a problem and shared some other weird, similar experiences they had dealt with in the past to put me at ease. That decayed mouse had my garage smelling so bad. The day prior to taking it to the shop, I paid someone come to my house, but he couldn't find the problem. So, first thing the next morning -- a Sunday -- I took it to Valvoline.So grateful you were opened and knew what to do! I offered to buy the guys lunch to say thanks -- although they may have been too bothered by the smell to think about food -- but they said no, I didn't owe them anything. Thanks for hiring an excellent crew!
