The customer service was excellent! My dad was teaching me how to get oil changes and he was saying that the service here was great and for me to come back here for future oil changes. We first went to two Jiffy Lubes in Camarillo, but either one of them could help because they had trouble finding our car in their system, and was unable to add the car in their system. So after waiting there and get no service done, we decided to try Valvoline and from the start there was someone there to help us and we were able to get our servicing completed easily and quickly. My dad was impressed.

The guy who helped me was a bit rude. I told him I had a coupon for $15 off unless he had a better coupon. His reply was, I don't give out coupons. Just a bit offputting. The price is a bit high overall compared to other service sites. . . I was in a pinch and needed a quick service, so it worked out fine. You are not the cheapest or even close to it. . . but when in a pinch and I need to be in and out, it works.

Every time I come to this location all the faces are different from the last time. it makes me wonder if anyone does the job long enough to get good at it. Also, it is probably just my perception, but the techs all seemed very young. I have no way to determine if the tech doing my Lexus is the best tech ever to change my oil, or somebody with little or no real knowledge or motivation to do the oil change completely correctly. I have no basis for writing that it's just an impression, so far as I can tell the tech (Joshua) did the oil change just fine. He seemed good enough I tipped him $20 and perhaps he will remember next time (if he is still working at that location I guess).
