They added an air filter to my bill when they didn't even change it. I was watching them and told them that I just put one in not too long ago and the team member asked another team member if they did put a new one in there and they said they do not have any and didn't put one in there. She mentioned she thought she saw them put one in there. In the end she took it off the bill but if I didn't catch that, I would of been charged for it.

After oil change was completed. They were professional in their communication, however when we left and went to gas station, my wife noticed smoke coming from engine. I.opened hood and noticeda fire in the back of engine, i poured water on it and put it out.Took it back to valvoline. The manager said the sensor burned, told me to take to mechanic. I did and mechanic said oil spilled on engine and looked like a rag was left. Mechanic said when they spilled the oil, they used a red rag to wipe up oil but forgot to take out rag then fire started. This never happened before. Right after i left valvoline smoke then fire? Mechanic charged $175 for labour and $203 for parts. I would like you to recompense me for my loss. Will you do the right thing?

On previous visit in February, I cautioned staff that this type of oil filter should be torqued and not put on too tight. On visit in June, service rep said that they were not able to remove the oil filter and said that I would have to find a mechanic. The oil was not changed.
