Review of service only as the staff was very friendly and I don't want to knock them.
I came in for an oil change and they upsold me on a tire rotation. They had to remove my hubcaps to do the rotation. That's fine but clearly they weren't reattached properly as one came off and was lost on my drive home (they're clipped on, not bolted or screwed on).
I also arrived home with a flat tire and had to take my car in to a mechanic, who found that the valve was loose, not a nail or puncture.
When I called customer service, they offered me 50% off my next service. Frankly, I don't think I'll be coming back to Valvoline. They ultimately refunded me the cost of the tire rotation ($40) but not the cost of the oil change as I'd used a Groupon. Unfortunately a new hubcap is going to cost $80-$100 so...not ideal.
They also couldn't refund my credit card. They wanted my bank information to send a wire transfer (no) or could mail a check. Never heard of such a thing.

I get that it was busy, but the whole thing about playing musical chairs with the cars was annoying and it definitely took longer than 15min. I think it was more like 45min.

For years, Valvoline has told me that I don’t need power steering fluid because the cap was sealed shut. My steering became more and more difficult and so this weekend, my stepdad was able to pop off the power steering fluid cap that had been stuck due to pressure. LITERALLY YEARS I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT NEEDED! It absolutely was. Now I can actually turn my car without it sounding like grinding gears. I did it myself, because again, Valvoline was convinced it was unnecessary. Also, I just went in last week and my coolant wasn’t checked or topped off and now I have a warning light.
