I told the manager (I think) that I wanted an oil and filter change, and check the washer fluid, and nothing else. The tech. tried to check the tires, and he had to be told no twice. The manager told me that the coolant was low, and I agreed to have coolant added. The manager mentioned doing a battery check which I declined. I had to tell the tech. 3 times that I did not want the battery service. I noticed that the tech, was spending more time than needed in the area of the battery. After I paid the invoice, and the truck was buttoned up, I started, cleared the oil status, and left. I drove home, parked, turned the truck off, and was done for the day. This morning I tried to start the truck, and the battery was dead. I jumped the battery, drove 60 miles, went to work, parked, turned the truck off, tried to restart, and dead battery. Prior to yesterday, I have had zero battery problems. Coincidence, maybe, but the truck is going to GMC tomorrow to find out what happened. Not happy.

The technicians did not tell me they were having trouble with the skid plate bolts. Instead they loosened and torqued the bolts over and over for over 5 minutes. They were not walking over or making eye contact, I had to lean out the window and ask if there was a problem. One technician came over and said they couldnu2019t get one of the skid plate bolts in tight. I told them to leave it slightly in and I would look at it when I got home. I didnu2019t want them to strip it with their torque wrench that was not set to the proper torque. A few minutes later they came over and said one bolts female thread was completely stripped and it wouldnu2019t stay in at all, and that another bolt was stripped and barely in. I told them again to leave it and I would deal with it at home since they damaged 2 out of the 4 bolts.

This was my first time getting an oil change somewhere other than the dealership. The staff was very patient, kind, and professional when explaining everything to me. The only thing i did not like was the fact that i did not have to sign anything authorizing the work on my car and i was not provided with any kind of disclosure statement indicating how you were planning to share my information prior to working on my car. I received a CarFax email about my service with your company and i was not notified that my information would be shared with outside companies nor was i given the option to opt out of this feature/service. I did not appreciate having my personal information shared without my consent.
