Technician didn’t insert the air filter in correctly and while driving to San Jose my son mentioned the car was slow accelerating etc..then the engine light came on. When we returned home my son checked the air filter and it was inserted properly, nor sealed correctly. He positioned the air filter correctly and sealed it and then test driver the vehicle and it was way better. So now he needs to clear the code. Really inconvenient and burned extra fuel. I did see the technician struggling with returning the air filter to the box under the hood.

I’m usually very satisfied but staff acted like they were just “done” for the day. They took my payment before they started services. They didn’t go through a checklist to show me what had been done on the car. I don’t know if they checked tire pressure. They were trying to wave me out and I had to ask if they had checked all the fluids. Just not the gold standard I’m used to seeing when I go to aValvoline.
