I waited over 15 minutes to get started. Then once in they told me the prices and they were astronomical!!! Since I had already waited and needed it done I didn’t have a choice and agreed to the service. Plus they had popped my hood and didn’t feel I had a choice. Also once I started asking about using my coupon and finding ways to reduce the price the guy helping me got annoyed and stayed like that the whole visit interacting with me. I felt like he just wanted me to leave and they all work off commission to try to upsell me. He also knew I had a coupon and almost didn’t use it when he range me in. He quoted me around $75 and then it came up to close to $80. I asked about it and he said I said around. When I’m quoted I like to know the exact amount. I left feeling like they did me a favor changing my oil and that I got ripped off for synthetic blend. This was not the experience I was expecting.

Valvoline should provide some type of cooling system for the employees working in "the pit". I can't believe there isn't anything provided other than water. Those employees are doing a great job but have to suffer through all of the heat of the summer because there aren't fans or any sort of cooling system in place. Shame on Valvoline

The oil change was fine. I had a tire rotation and they checked the air. My right front passenger tire flattened almost right after I left. They did send a very helpful young man to put my spare tire on. I went back and they filled my tire with air, which was all it needed. These tires are only 6 months old and are all terrain for 4 wheel drive, so the flatshould not have happened. The techs put my spare in upside down and threw the lid in the trunk. The manager was very nice and helpful. He promised to refund the tire rotation, but that has not happened.

I asked for synthetic oil, which I purchase every time at Valvoline. I was told by the service member that synthetic wasn't available because the nozzle was broken. So I had to ask what are my other options... he said they had a European version of the synthetic but it cost a lot more. I said OK, but since it's your nozzle that isn't working can I get the other for the same price. The service member seemed very confused on how to do this and was wasting time trying to use a coupon in order to provide a lower cost, but that didn't work because I wanted to use a coupon I had brought and you can't use two coupons at one time. He had to ask someone else for help and told them what he was trying to do. They told him the nozzle for the synthetic was fixed and they could provide it! It was completely inexcusable that this service member didn't ask in the fist place if the nozzle had been fixed because then he admitted he hadn't been to work for 3 days. I had to also ask them to refill my windshield wiper fluid and fill my one tire with air which are standard services, neither were done after I had paid, so I had to ask again. This is the worst service I have ever received at a Valvoline.
