did not have typical 5/30 oil in stock, went with synthetic blend and mileage sticker for next oil change was still 3,000 miles - 5,000 is standard for synthetic blend - talked with employee who said "3,000" is still Valvoline's recommendation. This leads to distrust and the feeling that Valvoline is only interested in selling more oil changes.

I called before I arrived asking if coolant flush service was available and the cost. I was told it was available and the cost was $125. When I arrived I was told the machine was broken. I was told the same at my last oil change in April. I chose to have my oil changed at this location because I needed a coolant flush, and called to confirm before arriving. I had to go to another service location after my oil change was completed and this cost me an additional 2 hours time. I will never return to Valvoline instant oil change. I feel like I was lied to just so I would come in for an oil change.

The staff neglected to inspect the lights. The windshield tag, intended to remind the driver of the next oil change, incorrectly indicated the next check was due at 348,000 miles, despite the vehicle having only 36,000 miles. The staff appeared disorganized and confused.
