One of the guys ringing me up introduced himself by name, another guy came along later to take care of the service and recommended an oil thickener (to slow down a leak) because he said he used it in his own car. Everybody seemed to know exactly what they were doing.

Staff told me when I opted for the air conditioner cleaning and u201crechargeu201c that it is possible the machine may malfunction, but they would give it a shot. If it didnu2019t work, they would not charge me. My air conditioning was working perfectly prior to the service, but the service was overdue so I obliged getting it fixed. The staff took all of the refrigerant out of my car, but the refrigerant would not go back into the car. Two of the staff said The problem was the machine malfunctioning. One staff said it was my car that was the problem and that I needed to go to a local mechanic to have my air conditioner system fixed before they could refill it with refrigerant. I was very unhappy with this because Prior to coming to your company, my air conditioner was working great, afterward it was not, and I was highly inconvenienced. I was given the option to go to another Valvoline site. The staff also charged me for the full service even though the service failed. This frustrated me and I had to call customer service to get the charge canceled. I went to the alternative Valvoline site. They used a more advanced machine and the refrigerant went in perfectly fine.

The technician did a great job trying to upsell services, such as air conditioning recondition and gas treatment. But I wanted the tech to perform a tire rotation. He didn't feel like doing it so he gave the excuse the ground was wet so they couldn't. I rotated tires many times myself and the ground being wet has no impact on rotating tires. I felt there wasn't enough commission in the tire rotation so that is why he really didn't want to do so. Ironically, they never offer tire rotation when trying to upsell services. I was also informed by a tech in the past that the oil plug was over tightened in a past service, I informed him that I only have been going to Valvoline for all my oil services on my Toyota. How will they fix the issue?
