Extremely unprofessional experience.
My wife recently came to this location for a long-overdue oil change. During the visit, the technician attempted to upsell her on windshield wiper service and an air filter replacement. After she politely declined, he made the following comment to her: “If I don’t change that, it’ll never get changed because your husband won’t do it.”
This comment was completely inappropriate, disrespectful, and frankly insulting. Not only was it an unnecessary remark directed at a customer, but it also carried an assumption that was unprofessional. Having someone perform these service for you is matter of convenience not incompetence. Customers should not have to deal with that kind of behavior when simply coming in for routine service.
For the record, replacing windshield wipers or an air filter takes minimal effort on most vehicles, which makes the comment even more ridiculous.
Because of the technician’s behavior toward my wife, I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate and requesting a full refund. I sincerely hope management addresses this employee’s conduct and reinforces basic professionalism and respect toward customers.
