The shop has traditionally been the place my family goes to get vehicle oil changed. But after this past Saturdar experience (January 3, 2026) we will find another vendor.
Sent my 18 year old daughter to this Valvoline for a simple oil change. The manager and technician then tried to upsell her on needing a brake fluid fill ($80), then a need to flush the transmission ($100), need to replace the brake pads, need to replace the cabin air filter ($80) and need to replace the engine air filter.
She was scared to drive the car at this point and as a father, I needed to talk her down and explain the unprofessional behaviors of some service shops.
When she returned home, I checked the brake fluid…… It was fine. I checked the brake pads… They were also fine. I checked the engine air filter and it was almost brand new
Avoid this service center at all cost. Management at this shop should be Ashamed at their behaviors. Would you want your own daughter treated like this?
