I took my wife's car the 2 weeks later to this same shop. They told me the oil filter cap was plastic and melted so they couldn't change the filter. They could only drain and replace the oil. Worried my wife's car was damaged I took it to the mechanic today. The mechanic has no idea why the valvoline staff said this and other than a "knick" on the cap it was fine. The mechanic said valvoline staff actually left the cap loose! I dont know why your staff would tell me an outright lie or why they don't want my business but as a customer who has been coming to you for years. Message received loud and clear!

People should explain better what the service consists of, there are things like refilling liquids that are interesting and they never say it, it is important to know the benefits that one receives from changing the oil. Something I didn't like was that it had a 15% discount but they told me I couldn't use it because I had brought my own oil.
