Staff automatically tried to sell me the most expensive oil, totaling over $100 for an oil change. I asked what kind of oil it was for, and only then did they tell me it was the most expensive kind. I said I just needed regular oil, so they substituted a cheaper option, the next most expensive kind. Only after prompting further, what kinds of oil they had, did they explain that there was actually another cheaper base version of oil. That is all I wanted, so I had to specifically ask for that kind. It would have been nice if they asked me upfront what level of oil I wanted, instead of just trying to charge me over $100 right off the bat. They also tried to sell me a new air filter, mine being almost completely new already. Lastly, the two staff members I spoke with had a very strong accent, making it hard to understand them, even after asking them to repeat what they said.

The staff was not thrilled that I wanted. nothing but my $225 oil change, my air filter element that they replaced 7500 miles ago was still white and not compacted down, barely beige in the dirt side but they were shocked and upset I dis not change it. Somewhat annoying acting like I am cheap to be honest. I get it, upsell is important , I asked to rotate, my tires were too big. I was jot trying to be cheap I just needed an oil change

I have used this location many times but I stopped for a period because my oil filter was overtightened at one point and had to be destroyed to get it back off. This visit, I was very comfortable with the tech as well as the manager. The tech appeared to know what he was doing and was very friendly. Unfortunately, I never see of meet the techs in the "pit" so I am usually in the dark and it was the "pit" employee that overtightened my filter once before. Letting the past visit go, I was very happy with this visit and I hope the filter was applied correctly.
