Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Unpleasant experience due to worker Ms. Cruz. I am not sure if Ms. Cruz is new but she did not explain things efficiently or clearly. I came in for an oil change and Ms. Cruz offered to check/replace extra things in the car as part of the service. Me and my boyfriend explained to her that whatever is included and free she may do. Anything that needs an extra cost to be replaced, don’t bother because we have our own mechanic. She kept going back and forth saying it’s included and free and then saying no it’s extra charge. We heard a different answer probably like 5 times. It’s pretty simple. Whatever is free to be replaced or filled, please do. If not, do not bother checking. She insisted it’s all included. Then they check things and say it’s extra charges if we want to replace it…Like didn’t we just say nothing for extra charges…So of course they checked those things for nothing because we did not pay for extra fixes. This just delayed the process and caused unnecessary annoyance. Workers need to be clear, plain, and simple on what’s being done and the price associated instead of being wishy washy about it. Ms. Cruz attitude was very cocky, passive aggressive, and unprofessional to the point that another worker came to apologize for her behavior. Would love to come back for another oil change for convenience but with a different worker that doesn’t cause such confusion on simple topics.

The attendant was very helpful and knowledgable and took the time to ask me what my priorities were for my car.
