Valvoline Instant Oil Change

They broke my fuel line and tried to rush me out the door without fixing. I've been going to Valvoline for years and they are great at oil changes, but anything outside of that should be serviced by professionals. This visit I asked to have my fuel filter replaced (common service done on diesel vehicles every 10k miles) and saw them take an unusual amount of time under the hood. After witnessing them prying and banging the filter hose with a screwdriver I knew something was wrong. They non-chalantly told me that they were able to provide half the service for the fuel filter that they "couldn't get the line off the top portion" so they wouldn't charge me for the service, which was a lie, they charged me for the oil changed and $120 "other". Luckily the area manager happened to be in the parking lot. I pulled in a parking space to inspect and immediately find a broken clip not fastened to one fuel line. These guys were about to send me on my way acting like nothing happened when a fuel line could have potentially popped off and caused a fire. I demanded to talk to the area manager who reluctantly had time for me, and after arguing that they had to fix it agreed to send me to their mechanic. In the end they fixed their mistake, but didn't offer any discount or apologies for the extra time and money involved requiring me to take a half day off work and drive across town to their mechanic. This is why you pay premium for professionals to service your vehicle. Valvoline will never have my service again.

Friendly service, just ask for what you want and they dont push extra services on you. They ask, but when you say no thank you, they leave you be and just give you the service you ask for.
