When they pulled out the oil stick they said it was broken. I’m not sure how it was broken when I saw him taking it out just fine. They taped it and put it back. They greeted me fine when I got in.

According to the maintenance check the employee marked they checked the transmission fluid, but I don’t know how because it is sealed. They didn’t check the tire pressure because the car has the tire pressure bulb on. Last time we went to the other Valvoline center in Sanford we lost around two hours. We were in line for near an hour, then the crew began to work on the car, after near 40 minutes, they said that they were sorry but they didn’t find the required tool to take out the oil filter, that I needed to go to the other service center. I went back home and on the road the motor cover partially fell so we had to return to the service center to have it fixed. We always have used the Valvoline service, and the crew who have worked on it have lost the screws so now the cover holds with tie wraps.

I called and spoke to a representative “Wilson” who quoted a price for synthetic oil change for my 2011 Ford F250 diesel truck. When I got to the shop the price was considerably different from what I was told. I also asked for a tire rotation and was told to wait outside while that rotated the tires, after about 15 minutes they advised they could not do the tire rotation since their equipment was not able to lift my stock truck. So I paid more for the oil change than I was quoted, and waited for a tire rotation service that they could not do at least if I went to the dealership they would be able to do a simple tire rotation and oil change at about the same price point.

I expected that staff, in addition to performing the oil change, they would check all fluids in engine bay and top off as necessary or at least tell me about their status; they did not. I found out about their condition while on a long car trip when I checked. However, staff was quick to point out where I needed service for an additional cost, of course. I’m not annoyed with that since I expected it. But it’s the little things that make the difference in the service business; it matters a lot in the vehicle preventive maintenance system.

Then told they could not check it unless it was up front under the hood. Thought my car was a German vehicle but it was made in Sweden. Just not knowledgeable about a Volvo.
