I was VERY disappointed in my service today at the Cumming location. I take both of my cars here and have been for a while for multiple services. Today upon checking in, I told the tech I keep hearing a hissing sound when I park and turn the car off, like fluid hitting a hot surface and just wanted them to take a peak while they are ALREADY under the car. I assumed it may just be the AC dripping, but find it odd it did not do this for the 1st 10 months I owned the car and only did it the last 60 days. I tell them I am there for my regular oil change. They of course do the upcharge questions about air filter, etc. which is fine to offer but then the tech tried to tell me I was over due for a front and rear differential service on my 2024 chevy tahoe with 34k miles. And funny enough I just had this same valvoline do that service on my husband's GMC truck because he reached 50K miles. I even told the tech that service is not due at 30K for my car and he told me it was and I am incorrect about my husbands car because all manufacturers suggest different mileage for this service. I replied with they are both GM and he just stared at me with confusion. This is false information and this location should be ashamed of pushing unneccesary services to clients. Then when he gave me the total it seemed different than last oil change so I just asked for clarification and sure enough after getting my receipt when I was done there was a "temp surrcharge" on there for zero reason. THEN he gave me my mileage sticker and I have asked this SAME shop, THE SAME people to please manually update my sticker bc I get synthetic oil which lasts longer than 3k miles and they continue to keep telling me well thats not their problem the system auto sets it to 3k..... FIRST this is NOT the customer's problem. This is a BUSINESS problem, if you know the computer only does 3K and someone gets synthetic you should have it part of the work flow to adjust the sticker. After asking him to fix it, the gentleman RUDELY yelled back, well you have to remind me BEFORE I print the sticker to adjust it.. UM NO, it is not my job to tell you how to do yours and then to have an attitude on top it. THEN they said I was done (they did not reset my oil setting in my car, I will just have to do it myself ) AND I asked did anyone look at the hissing noise that I asked about upon check in, they all just looked around at each other and the one guy said oh its just your ac dripping, and I said ok, well its just odd the car did not do this for the first 10 months I owned it but it has only started doing it the last 60 days. and they just rolled their eyes and said well theres a lot of reasons it does it but its just your ac. So not only was told frustrating but beyond below where the level of BASIC customer service.

These guys are super nice. They didn’t actually offer the service I needed but were friendly enough to recommend another place, give them a call, and tell them exactly Joe to help me. Honest help is hard to find!

Good place to get oil and transmission change. They have a transmission exchange machine that did the work in a few minutes. Great time saver just as if an oil change was done.
