I got my oil changed with Valvoline on Wednesday July 10th 2024. The associates that helped me Ash (a young man with locs) were very friendly.To my surprise, the very next day my “check engine” light came on due to something incorrectly being done by Ash(whom changed my oil) I came back to the store, explained the situation, Ash went back into the car, corrected the error & the light went off. Great. The very next day, this time early in the morning while I was on my way to work another sensor went off of my dashboard again. I’m 100000 percent sure it was because of the oil change I received from Valvoline. I’m a very busy manager, & after a long day of meetings and presentations, the last thing I want to do is sit in a mechanic office to sort out mistakes that aren’t my fault. This is my second day in a row having to do that, hence the frustration. The reviews were great online which is why I gave them a chance, but had I known that all of this would come from getting my oil changed with valvoline, I would’ve just went somewhere else. I’m requesting a full refund.

I’ve already been to the same location 3 times, and had been highly satisfied. This visit I experienced an issue. Once I drive off and went on to a Dr appt, I noticed that that my car was running rough. I stopped back in and the manager seen came out and checked and fixed issue. I again left, and realized as I left the parking lot, the engine light/oil message was still on. Drove back in for the 3rd time and Sean reset. Left and now highly satisfied. The techs working on the car were very friendly and professional, and as in the past I felt everything was going well. I’m not sure why different this time, but I do appreciate them and recognize sometimes you try your best and miscommunication/mistakes happen.Thank you Cameron, Aiko, Elijah and Sean!
