Got our oil changed and they checked other things on the car. They let us know the battery was getting to the end of its life. We went to the tire store to get our tires rotated and they checked the battery. Yes, we needed a new battery. Thanks for the heads up.

BEWARE — $3,000 BILL FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE
I went in on expecting nothing more than a routine instant oil change. Instead, I left with an unexpected $3,000 repair bill.
According to what I was told during my routine oil change service, the technician could not properly remove the oil filter housing/top on my truck. In attempting to do so, the part was damaged, ultimately requiring an engine component to be ordered and replaced.
What I find unacceptable is that I was then presented with the bill for the repair — a repair that would not have been necessary if the component had not been damaged during their service.
In my book of integrity if a technician damages a customer's vehicle while performing a service, why should the customer be responsible for the cost of fixing their mistake?! That is basic accountability.
I didn't bring my truck in for a $3,000 repair. I brought it in for an instant and routine oil change. Now I’m having to deal with in instant headache between going back and forth with management who only want to pay $500.
I am extremely disappointed with the way this has been handled and, so far, have not seen the level of accountability I would expect from a reputable business.
