Valvoline Instant Oil Change

This Valvoline station is the WORST! I WAS, a customer at this station having my oil changed every 3 months or when the sticker in my front window read the mileage time due. I live in the apartments across the street from them so it was convenient even tho there services were less than sub. Par. I had a leak in my power steering and went to them to ask if they could see or tell how bad it was by putting power steering fluid in, An employee came to help me and told me that they filled my power steering the day before when I had come to get my oil changed. I asked if he could watch me check the levels of it and he went to check it and told me it was probably a bit over filled, and that it was probably a transition issue and that I'd have to take it to a mechanic to figure it out. I drove away in stress and then about 3 miles into my drive decided I'd go ahead and check it all myself and added a full bottle of power steering fluid in my car. Guess what!? It worked my car drove extremely better and I could turn my steering wheel! What a relief! Then a month later I had parked in there non- used parking spots, since when you pull up their too get services you wait behind the car in front of you, or pull to the other side if there is only one side of there work spaces being used. I was there for a half hr and they towed my car for parking there when there was 2 other empty spaces and a white lil car that had been there for over 2 weeks non towed or ticked. Ok whatever fair is fair if they wanted to tow my car on NEW YEARS DAY, I PAID THE PRICE OF $300.00 dollars to get it back. But now 12 days later they are outa control! My car is parked on Auther st. NOT ANYWHERE NEAR THERE PROPERTY OR PARKING SPOTS AND THERE EMPLOYEES GET CAUGHT TAKING A PICTURE OF MY CAR AND LISENSPLATE! THE HECK IS THIS ABOUT? TOTAL VIOLATION OF MY RIGHTS AND PRIVACY AS A HUMAN CIVILIAN, JUST PARKING ON THE STREET BY MY APARTMENT. One of there employees took a full picture of my car & lisenseplate parked on a main street and got caught! My husband was furious and questioned him about it. And He responded he was "taking pictures of the parking situation" In front of our apartment and OBVIOUSLY NOT WORKING! THIS MADE ME SO ANGRY KNOWING WITH MY PLATES OFF MY CAR HE COULD GET MY PHONE NUMBER, NAME AND EXACT ADDRESS! WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS ( excuse my language) CRAP! THERE NOT THE POLICE AND NOT EVEN DOING THERE JOBS AT WORK AND DEFINITELY NOT NEEDING PODESTRIAN INFO ON PARKING FOR THERE JOBS!!!

Huge shoutout to Tully and the team at the Valvoline on State Street in Boise. After getting my oil changed, I noticed an oil leak a few days later and brought my car back in. Tully, the assistant manager, and his crew were incredibly kind, thorough, and professional. They took the time to go through everything, fixed the issue, and didn’t charge me a thing. Stuff happens, but the way they handled it really shows they care about their customers. I felt taken care of and would absolutely recommend this location.
