I had been a customer at this location long before it became Valvoline. When Einstein’s operated here, I always received excellent service and trusted this location for years. Unfortunately, after this experience, that trust has been completely destroyed. On Saturday the 11th, I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. The service was performed incorrectly. One of the seals/gaskets was not installed properly, which caused the vehicle to lose its oil. By Wednesday the 14th, my vehicle had practically no oil left, and I ended up stranded on the side of the road. What makes this even worse is that, after making a mistake that could have caused serious damage to my vehicle, you were NOT able to resolve the issue that same day. I had to leave my vehicle, arrange for help on my own, and pay someone else to be present while you dealt with a problem that was caused entirely by work performed incorrectly at your location. I rely on my vehicle for my business. Because of this situation, I was unable to continue working, had to cancel commitments, let my clients down, and suffered significant financial losses in my business. All of this happened because a basic service that I paid for was not performed correctly. And the problem did not end there. Another oil/fluid service had also been performed on the rear part of the vehicle, and that service was ALSO done incorrectly. It continued leaking. What is even more unbelievable is that when my vehicle was inspected for the first problem, no one even noticed that the second service your shop had performed was also failing. I had to contact you again, return to the location again, and lose approximately another two hours waiting for your staff to correct yet another mistake caused by your own work. After all of this, the solution I was offered was a coupon for a free oil change. Do you honestly think that after this experience I want to put my vehicle back in your hands? NO. I do not want a coupon. I do not want another oil change. I do not want to return for another service. I WANT A FULL REFUND FOR THE MONEY I PAID FOR SERVICES THAT WERE PERFORMED INCORRECTLY. A coupon does not give me back the hours of work I lost. It does not replace the income I was unable to earn. It does not repair the damage this caused to my business, and it does not compensate me for being stranded on the side of the road or for the time I had to spend repeatedly returning to your location so that your staff could correct mistakes that should never have happened in the first place. The minimum I expect from a company after it makes a serious mistake is that it responds immediately, takes responsibility, and provides a solution that is proportionate to the damage and inconvenience caused. That did not happen here. I am extremely angry and disappointed with the quality of the work, the lack of attention during the inspection of my vehicle, and especially the way this situation was handled afterward. I am formally requesting a FULL REFUND for the services I paid for. If the company believes that a simple coupon is an acceptable response after leaving my vehicle without oil, leaving me stranded, and forcing me to return multiple times to correct poorly performed work, then I also believe it is important to publicly share my experience so that other customers know exactly how this situation was handled. I expect a serious response and a real resolution, not another coupon.
