If I could give a 0 l would. I've never been to a Valvoline, and I called Schaumburg (stay with me here) immediately when they opened and verbally stated I need a transmission oil change and they told me I could go whenever! So I did, get there just to be told I thought it was an engine oil change that you had stated, our machine is broken for the transmission, you can come back next week. So l said you're telling me go to a different location if I want it done right now so I head over to Bartlett,,, get told thank you so much for your time! From Schaumburg. I call ahead to Bartlett location because I don't want to be surprised and be told the machine doesn't work as if l didn't already ask on the phone call to the first store. Now I head over there to Bartlett Valvoline. Bad decision. After spending my morning traveling between these stores, the technician under my car strips. My. Bolt. 🙃 I get told by another technician: oh so the person stripped the bolt so we can’t get it off. We’ll put the metal plate back on and you’re good to go we can’t do this service today. I don’t think you can imagine to begin my frustration. Let me set the tone: it’s your BIRTHDAY and you just wanted your day to go smoothly and wanted to be in and out. Mind you, I went to Toyota the day before and asked how much the transmission oil change would be : $350. I called Valvoline and they said 200. Wow! I get told save $150 just by going here! So cool let me look up some coupons and I can’t wait to be super satisfied and just glad my car would be up to par. Wrong ! They can’t do any service at all <3. Come here if you want to waste your time and soon to be even more money than you originally planned. I really hope this review helps others stay away and legit just : Don’t!
