None of the things that are normally done at an valvoline visit were done. Tire pressure, headlights/blinkers, windshield wipers, air filter were not checked, I'm not even sure if the windshield washer fluid was topped off. However on my receipt it says it was completed. For a $109 oil change I would expect valvoline to do everything it says it will be doing. There are cheaper options out there for just an oil change and to watch people stand around

They say on my invoice they checked everything. They in fact checked nothing but washer fluid. No tires or lights, nor did they reset the oil light. The guy didn't say more than "same oil as last time?" and told me the price. Never even said thanks. It was the woman who actually changed the oil that guided me out and said thanks. Not that I really care about interactions, but I go there because I like getting my tire pressure checked and my lights checked. Believe me, Valvoline is way more expensive than the dealer but they are usually fast so it's worth it with the little extras. If the little extras are going to stop, I won't go there. Bethalto is the fastest, most efficient, and friendliest usually. Not this time. I felt like I was a bother ir interrupting something.

So, it seems as if the service has become hit and miss. For example, no check of headlights, turn signals, ect.. but the next bay this happened. Not so sure the employees are highly motivated, just going through the motions. My last couple experience have been similar. In the past things ran smoothly, an actual check list, things not skipped. Like purchasing wipers but not installing and don't remember until after the customer exits and leaves. Service has declined from when I first started going to Valoline.
