🚨 PUBLIC WARNING: DO NOT GO TO VALVOLINE LOMBARD (GR0037). THEIR STAFF WILL DESTROY YOUR CAR, AND THEIR MANAGEMENT WILL STALL FOR 45 DAYS TO AVOID PAYING. 🚨
On July 17, a technician at Valvoline Lombard threw heavy jumper cables across the bay, slamming into my battery area and causing a massive short circuit. The next day, my car suffered a complete electrical shutdown in heavy traffic during a 95-degree heatwave. My certified mechanic confirmed the impact blew my 200A alternator fuse and fried my battery, resulting in $1,038.81 in damages, towing, and losses.
Instead of taking responsibility, Area Manager Armando and his boss, Tim, spent 45 days playing games—continuously asking for more time and dragging out the process just to dodge paying for the damage their own employee caused. After dozens of exhausting calls to customer service, they ultimately rejected the claim.
If you use Valvoline Lombard, you are risking your safety and your vehicle, backed by management that refuses to stand by their mistakes.
