Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Amazing service!! I hate this part of adulting… oil changes are a hard no for me!!! This was insanely easy drive in he showed me my options gave me his suggestion and then checked literally everything lights, tires, air filters, wipers…. All the things! 10/10 highly recommended!!

I wish there was an option for 0 stars bc this company doesn’t even deserve 1 star but I can’t leave a review unless I give them the bare minimum of 1 star. For starters I showed up to get an oil change. They were telling me that it’s manufacturing recommendations that I use full synthetic. I messaged the guy I purchased my suv from and asked what oil they’ve been using, he said conventional. After back n forth with the tech they went ahead and done full synthetic. So instead of $30+ foot an oil change now I’m required to put full synthetic in it for as long as it continues to run (2015 Chevy equinox) which will now cost me $100+ for every oil change. And they didn’t even do the 18 point inspection, never asking me to turn on my turning signals etc. a couple weeks go by and my suv starts acting up. I google what the suv was doing, and even took it to have codes ran at advanced auto parts, it comes back as a misfire. I ask if it could be caused by an oil change and they say yes. I call valve line, got it in and they claim there was 0 oil in my suv 2 weeks after they changed the oil. They found a leak, did nothing except top of the oil. It cost me $200+ to have the reports made. Never again and I highly suggest that women don’t go bc the tech convinced me synthetic would be required and since I’m a female I feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously and got bullied into getting full synthetic oil. Def do not make the same mistake as I did. They aren’t mechanics and took advantage of me.
