An oil change should not result in a part falling off your car on the highway.
I took my Honda Civic to this Valvoline location on July 6 for an oil change. Shortly after leaving, I heard something scraping against the highway while I was driving. The under-car engine plate detached. I had to pull over, cancel work appointments for the day, and have the car towed to a repair shop.
The car was in the shop for a couple of days while a new engine plate was ordered and installed, and I had to rent a car in the meantime.
Valvoline covered the engine plate repair, which I appreciate, but there was no refund or discount on the oil change, no reimbursement for the rental car, and nothing to account for a missed day of work.
