The help seems to be very incompetent. The first individual had to ask where the oil fill was; I had to tell him that the oil fill was the same as the dipstick tube that you checked the oil level from. Then the individual in the pit could not find the oil filter location. He asked the individual that was up top to ask me if I knew where it was. I informed them that it was on the right side of the motor directly above the exhaust. I asked if they could remove it slowly as to prevent the oil from spewing all over the exhaust, so that I wouldn’t have to smell burning oil for weeks. Once he located the filter he began his 15 minute struggle trying to remove the oil filter with multiple types of filter wrenches. He was not very successful with his mission of removing the filter , but was very successful at rocking the car like a ship at sea. After being unsuccessful with removing the filter he asked a young lady to come help him. At which point I suggested using a band wrench with a swivel handle. After what felt like another 15 minutes she was finally able to remove the filter using the band wrench. In doing so she must have removed the filter quickly, rather then slowly to allow the oil to drain out to prevent it from covering the exhaust. Needless to say I had to smell oil inside the passenger compartment , the next day, for the 850 mile trip to Mobile Alabama. The 15 minute quick lube did not end up being very quick at 45-50 minutes. When I left the shop I did not have much confidence that the job was done correctly. I checked the oil level when I got home and it appears to be correct. Fingers crossed that the oil filter was installed correctly and tight enough. Safe to say that I will not be coming back for another quick lube. I felt like my car was in the hands of unsupervised teenagers.
