It was a quick in and out, no fuss no weight on my lunch break. Put air in my Tire and topped off my wiper fluid. Now I am good to go.

I always expect to be up sold but this time the tech was extremely persistent & I'm concerned messed up my vehicle. I went in for a simple oil change & left with issues with my battery/turn signal. At first I thought it was a coincidence but for multiple things to stop working after I came in for a oil change concerns me.
The techs do not listen. I asked them to just do an oil change next thing I see different guys under my hood with pliers & removing things. The guy goes to "test" my battery which has a cover on it that needs to be removed to access it. Then next thing he says that it's bad I said okay I'll look into it. They also tested my turn signals no issues. Next thing when the oil change is completed my car wouldn't start. Then when they jumped my car & he gave me the cover he said if I can just keep it because he doesn't want to mess anything up. Then he asks me if I want to do the battery now after admitting he is concerned about messing things up.
When I left also my turn signal stopped working & when we did their "tests" everything was working perfectly. Another concerning thing after all these things happened he asked if he can review my paperwork again & he went to the other guys asking questions. Seeming concerned. All red flags. I know it's a drive through oil change place but I visit for convenience of being in and out. I always make this clear because all it takes is one random guy messing with the wrong thing.
My question is, If I ask for an oil change why are you removing parts when your not even confident to do a basic check on a vehicle? You aren't a mechanic and don't know anything about cars except the basic skills provided. This is my first complaint and I will make sure to escalate further but want to make sure people know so I can at least stop some people from potentially having further issues.
