I came in for an oil change. They offered me an air filter after checking mine and tested my battery. I did not get a new air filter or battery but I did buy a new battery at an auto parts store two days later. When changing the battery I noticed both screws that secured the air filter compartment were missing. I drove back to valvoline and asked them what happened. The young lady who worked there remembered my car and said they were already missing when I got there and that it was noted on the invoice. She said screws like that get stripped out and go missing frequently. She said she couldn’t replace them. I checked the invoice later and it was NOT noted. I have only taken this car to valvoline for oil changes and they are the only ones who would have removed this compartment when they offer me a new filter. The only three locations I have visited are the ones in Tates Creek Center downtown Nicholasville and Danville. Somewhere along the line somebody lost these screws and I never knew about it because it wasn’t noted on the invoice. I thought that by driving all the way to Danville I would have received more helpful and sympathetic service.
