Oil change may be nightmare. Had oil changed on 8-31-26 and after they were done was told it had sludge and the drain plug was rounded out. If anything is messed up it was done by Valvoline since they did the last oil change. Oil was evacuated not drained and since it had sludge I would have liked to have it drained. If the oil plug is rounded couldn't they have used vise grips or pliers to get it out. I think it isn't just rounded it was put in to tight and it is stripped out and will require maybe dropping the oil pan to fix that will cost a lot. Problems are it was last changed by Valvoline on 11-18-24 so it has been a long time but it is a 2013 Chevy Volt that is a plug in hybrid and if you google it they state change at 24 months or 10% oil life. It wasn't 24 months and oil life said 11% left. I track gas usage and in that time it used 36.365 gallons of gas and at 40 mpg that would be 1,454.6 miles driven on gas the rest on electric and with full synthetic I thought I was ok. I can take a oil plug with me The next time I get the oil change but the story will probably change from rounded out to stripped out and we didn't do it. Who knows maybe it is just rounded off and they don't take out oil drain plugs if rounded and it isn't that big of a problem but I doubt it.
