I could not be much more disappointed by my last two visits. Two visits ago I came in the store and asked them to test my battery and alternator. They said the alternator was fine and it was just the battery. I paid $190 to have the battery replaced. The next day my car was dead again. I took it to a different shop and had to have the alternator replaced. I came back to Valvoline thinking that they would work with me since they replaced a battery that didn’t need to be replaced… It was only about two years old. I needed an oil change anyways, so I simply asked them if they would give me a free oil change to make up for the battery that didn’t need to be replaced. They insulted me by giving me $30 off (which is almost as much as I could get off anyway through a coupon I already had). The manager was not on site. The person of the store was friendly and called her twice, but she was not willing to put the customer first. I thought it was more than fair to simply give me a free oil change. I didn’t even ask for money back related to the battery. Instead they insulted me by giving me $30 off
