I went in for an oil change and they took my air filter out and compared it to a new one so I decided to get it replaced. I saw Gage and a short hair female were struggling getting it in. I went home and my engine light came on. I got it checked at advanced auto and was told to come back to valvoline. Moe at valvoline took a look at it and said the problem was it was installed incorrectly and that they had broke my sensor. I’m told they are ordering the part to have it replaced this week but I don’t know what the cost is going to be or if I’ll have to pay anything at all. Been going to valvoline for years but they have now lost all my trust letting me leave when they knew they had broke something.

The tech that was working on my car did a top side evac and broke the hose off in my dipstick tube. Then called over another tech before calling the manager over. They need to do a drug and alcohol test and more training.
