Everything was fine, except that when I brought my vehicle to a mechanic in Newton the following day, I was advised that the PSI on my four tires were very low, between 22 and 32. The checklist I received from Valvoline indicated that the tire pressures were checked. This is a serious safety concern thinking that my car/tires were in good hands with Valvoline, but now I'm very hesitate about coming back, let alone recommending this franchise to my network.

I didn’t catch the guy’s name but 2 employees helped me. The first guy was EXTREMELY rude and talked to me like I was stupid. He started entering my information into the computer then a second person came and took over. He was very nice and professional.

Valvoline website states that checks of various fluids will be performed for free (see excerpt from the web site below my message). Unfortunately, almost none of such checks have been performed though, even though other oil change garages do that without even being asked.At the same time, the technician recommended that I order paid-for service to have these fluids checked and replaced, if so required.I find this to be false advertising.PLUS, WE'LL PERFORM A FREE 18-POINT MAINTENANCE CHECK OF THE FOLLOWING: Air filter Automatic transmission fluid Battery test (at participating locations) Brake fluid Cabin air filter (if requested) Differential fluids (if requested) Headlights Lubricate chassis (where applicable) Power steering fluid Radiator fluid Reset oil change light Taillights Tire pressure Transfer case fluid (if requested) Under chassis visual inspection Under hood visual inspection Windshield washer fluid Wiper blades
