I have been a customer at this Jiffy Lube location for years, which is why this experience was extremely disappointing. During my most recent visit, the employee with dreadlocks closed the hood of my car in a completely careless and reckless manner. Instead of lowering it properly, he dropped it from a very high position, causing the hood to slam down extremely hard onto my vehicle. Anyone familiar with cars knows this is not how a hood should ever be closed, as it can easily damage the latch, hood alignment, or paint. When I addressed the situation and expressed concern about what had just happened, the employee immediately became hostile and unprofessional. Rather than acknowledging the issue or speaking with me respectfully, he walked away while I was still talking and began yelling for me to leave the Jiffy Lube. This behavior was shocking and completely unacceptable. Customers should not be treated this way, especially when raising a legitimate concern about the handling of their vehicle. Beyond the disrespectful conduct, the careless way my car was handled shows a lack of basic professionalism and care for customers’ property. I have trusted this location for years, but this experience seriously damaged that trust. Management should be aware of how customers and vehicles are being treated, because this type of conduct reflects very poorly on the business.
