I have been going to VIOC for 20+years and this was my first negative experience. The oil change went great as usual and the staff was super courteous (the wait was long but not the fault of the staff) but as I was driving away the heat shield/kick plate started dragging on the road because it was not reattached properly after the oil change and I had to pull over and remove it with the help of a Good Samaritan on the side of a very busy road. When I came back to have it reattached, the staff took no responsibility, blamed Ford, and put me at the back of the line. I had to wait about 45 additional minutes, then they reattached it in about 5 minutes with no acknowledgment of the situation, and no coupon or anything for the inconvenience. Seems like instead of making me wait again at the back of the line, they could have at least reattached it quickly and had me on my way. It was a very stressful experience for me with the dragging kick plate and then to get no apology and to have to wait again, it did not leave a good taste in my mouth.

Service was unprofessional. Banter between cooworkers about taking brakes. Service member said, ‘woman right?’ To me referencing the cooworker he has bickering with. Found out engine air filter had a fastener that was never reinstalled.

The car in front of me took longer than expected, but having three bays and cars in line made it impossible to rearrange the line. 2 cars that came in after me were finished and drove off before me.
