I am detailing an extremely disappointing and costly experience with Valvoline. A routine oil change I received at a Massachusetts location has resulted in a cascade of critical vehicle failures, leaving me with an unsafe car and significant financial burden during an already stressful cross-country move.
I had the oil change performed the day before I left Massachusetts for a month, during which time the car was stored and not driven. Upon my return, I began my drive to Florida. During a stop in Washington, D.C., I discovered a severe oil leak. I took my car to a mechanic in D.C, they changed my valve cover. I thought that solved the problem but now im having new and more serious problems with my car. I took it to Honda for an inspection and now I have a report from them stating what the issue is and now I have even more reason/proof to believe all of this was caused by the valvoline in Massachusetts. I’ve had to pay for everything out of pocket whilst in the middle of moving and I’ll have even more ridiculous expenses to fix the problem. I can’t work or really do anything without a vehicle.
