Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I went for an oil change Saturday, January 24, and they spent about 10 minutes on my 2019 Jeep grand Cherokee to change the oil. I was highly surprised that they did the oil change in about 10 minutes. I had been at this particular Valvoline in the past and they spent much longer, but they seem to be rushing, and I noticed when they were changing my oil, they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. I drove off after the oil change, and I smelt a burning smell in my car, by the time I got home, the burning smell was so bad it filled the inside of the car and I opened the hood and there was oil leaking all over the car and all over the driveway. I called Valvoline‘s management team and the lady that answered said well you can file a claim and we’ll get back to you, I told her that I was coming back down to the franchise to have this issue corrected immediately since all the oil had leaked out. By the time I drove back to Valvoline, my dipstick was completely dry. There was no oil in my engine, they were very lucky. I didn’t seize the engine. I have a 2019 Jeep grand Cherokee worth $80,000 and if the engine seized they would be responsible to replace this jeep grand Cherokee for $80,000. I showed back up at the franchise they did not offer me a refund, the customer service is poor, they just said that they didn’t tighten some valve in the engine and that’s why this issue happened and I find this completely irresponsible and unreasonable and they didn’t even say that they were sorry. I will never be back out of Valvoline ever again. I don’t think they do good work, I don’t think they know what they’re doing, and I think they hire incompetent people to work at Valvoline. The people that work at Valvoline need to start smartening up and if you’re gonna do oil changes for a living, then start being good at it, and stop sucking at it. From what I saw today they suck at their jobs, they’re irresponsible they don’t know what they’re doing, and they don’t take any responsibility for their actions. I will be calling Valvoline corporate this week and make sure that this changes and they will be responsible, they will be taking action for their mishaps, and they will be owning up to their mistakes in the future. I am so sick and tired of employees that are incompetent, and incapable, and just want to make money and the service rendered to the customer sucks. I got sucky service today and I’m not happy about it, they could’ve costed me to see an engine on $80,000 Jeep grand Cherokee. I would love to see Valvoline replace my $80,000 Jeep grand Cherokee. I will never be back at a Valvoline franchise ever again. Unfortunately, Valvoline hires people that do not know what they’re doing.
