We always thought that Valvoline was a reputable business. My son took his car Sunday to get a simple oil change. Only made it 10 minutes down the road on i-275 found oil underneath his car. we towed it back to the oil change place who tried to say it was a coolant problem. When it wasn't. we took it to the mechanic who said that the engine was completely seized. All fluids were checked prior to leaving Valvoline and it still has coolant. We've filed a complaint with Valvoline corporate. Waited for a response from multiple people for 4 days and in the end the claims lady on the phone said oh they didnt tell you they closed it days ago and that the manager and the regional manager will not speak to us. They will not process the claim and closed it out despite evidence. My son has a car in the shop right now. He has paid for towing with an engine that's completely damaged from an oil change that they won't take responsibility for. They would not even call us to explain If you are wise do not take your car to this oil change location.
