Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Valvoline NEVER GO there. They put a tube into my dip stick and sucked the oil out. When questioned they said it is a more precise drain of the oil. Once they thought they completed the drain, by sucking it out, they filled my car with new synthetic oil. Once they completed the oil fill, they changed the oil filter. ( A little backward process) The so called technician, then told me to restart my car. He inserted my dipstick back in, pulled it out, and show me the oil was full. I have to agree it was full but it was black. Old oil mixed with the new oil. I would strongly urge you to never go to Valvoline for anything. They pulled my air filter, which was barely dirty and wanted to change it. I said, no, and they put it back in with leaves attached to it. They are more interested in selling things to you rather than servicing you. Also for your information, I did a little research, Sucking oil through the dipstick tube is a viable, albeit slower, method for an oil change, especially when the oil drain plug is hard to access, but it has a major drawback: it doesn't remove all the oil and sludge from the bottom of the pan. For a complete oil change, it is still necessary to drain the oil from the drain plug at the bottom of the oil pan, which also allows for the removal of any accumulated.
