I always appreciate how friendly the staff are, and how they don't treat you like you're dumb if you don't know a lot about cars. On this particular visit, they were out of the air filter for my car, so the manager offered to run down to the auto parts store and get me one, and I agreed. It took about 5 minutes extra, and he put it right in.

They said they were going to check the air filter, and didn't, they just slipped over it. I complained about this exact same issue at a different location last year, Valvoline workers seem way less knowledgeable about how to do things these last couple years. And when they don't know how to do something, they just skip it and hope you don't bring it up or forget that they said they were goi v to do it. I think you need to hire people that actually have some mechanical expertise, not just sales people that know how to drain and fill the oil and fill the tires...the slightest inconvenience and your people just don't do their jobs. Very disappointing after over a decade of good service from Valvoline, so much so, that I am really considering whether or not I even want to come back.
