The prices I paid seemed really high. I've been going to Valvoline for awhile and never really compared prices. I have gotten oil changes, etc. and never really thought about it. Recently, I had to take my car to the dealership. I had them do an oil change at the dealership while it was there and it was less money than I paid with a 20% discount at Valvoline. Also, I recently joined Costco. I KNOW Valvoline can sell oil for the same price as Costco. A 6 quart box of Mobile 1 Synthetic 5W-30 was $34.00 at Costco. There is no excuse for charging 3 times that much at your stores. I understand you have overhead and it IS convenient, but at over $100.00 without a discount, it's just way overpriced. I paid WAY too much for wiper blades, too. Michelin wiper blades are on sale for $7.00 each at Costco. I paid $28.00 for 2 wiper blades at Valvoline. NEVER AGAIN. I will be taking my car to the dealership and buying my own wiper blades from now on.
