I got an oil change here on my 2013 Impala. During the oil change the tech removed my cabin air filter to show it to me in an effort to persuade me to replace it. They wanted $50 for a new one installed. I explained to him that I would buy my own and install it myself. He explained that I didn't want to breath on that air. I told him I was aware of that and that I would change it myself for significantly cheaper. When I went to change the filter myself I was highly annoyed. The tech snapped one of those plastic push pins that hold the cover on. He placed my old filter very lousilly into the slot. He also had to remove some weather stripping to access the filter and failed to ensure that it was reapplied. He also never even asked me if he could remove the filter in the first place as I would have said no.
