First I am an avid Valvoline Customer. You are my go to. I travel all over the US for a living and always find a Valvoline for my oil changes. I love that you do your full inspections. Battery testing, air filter, tire pressure, fluids and windshield wipers upon oil changes along with showing the dip stick after an oil change is completed. This is the first place that didn’t ask me if I have an account with you all. They automatically marked every area I listed above as good but never physically checked. When I saw the guy do that on the screen I asked him how does he know everything is Good if they are not checking. He did not have a response. Then I asked him to at least check my battery since he marked GOOD. He had someone else do it and turns out my battery needs replacing. With their lack of commitment to the great service you typically provided I decided to go else where and get a second opinion for a battery replacement. I typically get my battery replaced through Valvoline if needed. This location is about getting in and out. My other concern and issue is that while upon filling my oil they got oil all over my truck. Battery and the In fill area did a quick wipe but not full clean. I ended up doing that the next day myself and I have photos. They also did not show the standard oil dip stick showing the oil is at the correct fill status after starting my truck. They just said thank you and I drove off. I definitely will not refer or ever visit this location again.

It was a good experience except they were unable to perform a tire rotation because their equiprment was broken. Other than that, all good!

All the staff were friendly however, this store needs work on a few things. I came in for an oil change and head light replacement. Oil change was completed but the head light was not. They claimed they did not have the tools to do it. I was still charged for that service and when I noticed it they claimed they couldn’t do a refund for just the head light. There were two options refund the entire amount which would’ve been $100 and then pay them again just $74 for my oil change and wait for the original refund to come back on my card (would’ve been between 5-7 days) which I declined to do. The second option was they give me the headlight and go to another store that has the tools to replace it. I took option two. Went to the store in New Brighton and not only did they replace my headlight free of charge but they noticed my air filter was never put back in correctly and they gave me the incorrect bulb for my car. The communication at this store needs to be way better and they need to recheck everything. To top it off they need to communicate with another store before they just send customers there for something they could’ve done. Seems like they were all in a rush with as many as mistakes they made on my car. I usually never have a problem at this store but I probably won’t be back.
